Statement re: antisemitic Mailings to Synagogues

In view of the antisemitic messages mailed to synagogues in Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal and Edmonton, it is very hurtful to us collectively as an interfaith community to witness hateful messaging directed at our Jewish brothers and sisters.

We deplore such acts of intolerance and divisiveness. As the Canadian interfaith voice, the Canadian Interfaith Conversation advocates for harmony and respect amongst religious communities, and those with no religion. We pray for increased tolerance and acceptance now and at all times of the year.

To the Jewish community who is most directly impacted, we stand in solidarity for a more inclusive and loving tomorrow.
