Friday night Shabbat Service

On October 27, 2017 at 8 p.m., Mosaic Interfaith is invited to attend a Friday night Shabbat Service in honour of the Daniel Pearl Music Days. The service will be held at Temple Har Zion, 7360 Bayview Ave, Thornhill, Ontario. 

Daniel Pearl Music Days was created in response to the 2002 kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl at the hands of extremists in Karachi, Pakistan. Danny's family and friends came together to work towards a more humane world, forming the Daniel Pearl Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to promote cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music, and innovative communications. Daniel Pearl World Music Days is an international network of concerts that use the power of music to re-affirm a commitment to tolerance and humanity.
