On Saturday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Noor Cultural Centre, a discussion will be held on "Canada at 150, Charter at 35, Muslims at Crossroads." Speakers are Nathalie Des Rosiers, MPP (Ottawa-Vanier); Haroon Siddiqui, Editor Emeritus, Toronto Star; and Azeezah Kanji, Legal analyst and Writer.

On Sunday, April 30, at 7:30 pm, at the Noor Cultural Centre, join two filmmakers who tell the stories of Jewish and Muslim women in their documentaries.

You are invited to a keynote speech and panel discussion on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Fo Guang Shan Buudhist Temple in Mississauga.  The keynote speech is by Renu Mandhane, Ontario Human Rights Chief Commissioner, with a panel discussion by Rev. Don McBey, Chair, Interfaith Council of Peel; Varsha Naik, Peel District School Board; and Balpreet Singh Boparai, World Sikh Organization.

Come join Ontario's faith leaders and the public for the Multi-Faith Prayer Vigil on Ontario's Budget!  The vigil takes place Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 12 noon to 1 pm, in front of the Legislative Building at Queen's Park.  This annual non-partisan prayer service includes the naming of each and every MPP, praying that they be guided by a spirit of compassion and justice in their deliberations on the budget.  

Would You Harbor Me? A Fundraising Concert for Syrian Newcomer Youth takes place on 7:30 p.m., Saturday April 1, at the MacLeod Auditorium, Medical Sciences Building, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

The Spirited Citizenship Faith Alliance Tour, March 28 to April 7, in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary, will feature a New Angus Reid Institute analysis of Canadians’ attitudes toward faith and prayer in private and public life, and how religious plurality separates and brings us together.
