The Durham Multi Faith World Religion Committee presents World Religion Day, a Community Celebration of Unity in Diversity. The 2018 theme is "A World Without Prejudice."

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Formal program from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A Muslim-Catholic Student/Young Adult Dialogue will take place Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Catholic Pastoral Centre (4th floor, Bishop Michael Power Room) 1155 Yonge Street, next to Summerhill subway station. Light refreshments will be provided. The dialogue will discuss the Roles of Women in Judaism, Catholicism and Islam.  All students and young adults are welcome.  

A Spiritual Dialogue Circle meeting with the theme 'Education' will take place January 1 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  Our Circle has been meeting on the first Monday of the month (except July and August) since 2009 and have explored themes as diverse as prayer, education and forgiveness.

Faith & the Common Good is organizing a free "Climate Change and Energy Benchmarking Webinar" on January 22, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Dianne Saxe, Ontario’s Environmental Commissioner. Learn about why it is so essential that faith communities step up to respond to the climate crisis, and what you can do to make a difference.
