Members of all communities are welcome and encouraged to attend programming conducted as a part of Holocaust Education Week (November 2 – 9). Hosted by the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, this year’s Holocaust Education Week theme is “The Future of Memory”. Throughout the GTA, events, workshops, presentations, and discussions will be led by Holocaust Survivors, authors, academics and experts.

Holocaust Education Week event - Poles Saving Jews

On November 1 from 7-9 pm, as part of Holocaust Education Week, the Scarboro Missions Interfaith Department is sponsoring a program entitled Poles Saving Jews. The program will feature a film about a Polish man, Franciszek Paslawski, who risked his life to save Jews during the Nazi persecution in Poland. He was later honored as a “Righteous Among the Nations”.
