Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Stories of Success and Challenge from Refugee Women

The Intercultural Dialogue Institute GTA and the Shoe Project are hosting a celebration in honour of International Women's Day. The evening's program includes a dinner, keynote speech, panel discussion, awards, table discussions, and entertainment.

The keynote speaker will be Mary Jo Leddy (Founder of Toronto's Romero House, Writer, Theologian, Social Activist), who will also be awarded the Women in Leadership Award during the evening. The panel discussion will be moderated by Katherine Govier (Founder and Director of Shoe Project, Vice-president of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association) and will feature panel speakers: Paola Gomez, Umut Duygu Uzunel, and Kiden Jonathan.
