Hospitality in the Face of Adversity: A Christian, Islamic and Jewish Response

Speakers:

Hector Acero - Associate Director of the Centre for Philosophy, Religion, and Social Ethics at the Institute for Christian Studies. 

Arij Elmi - Arij Elmi is a PhD candidate at OISE, social worker, women's self-defence instructor, junior fellow at Massey College and board members of Hard Feelings Mental Health.

Louis Sachs - Rabbi Sachs is Assistant Rabbi at Beth Tikvah Synagogue.  A graduate of UC Davis and the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, he has a deep interest in the relationship between Jewish Law and Ethics.

Each speaker will discuss how the front line work of their faith community incorporates and represents their values and beliefs. We will share our experiences, issues we face, and how we can learn from each other.
