North American Interfaith Network (NAIN) Annual Conference

July 10-13, 2016, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico: The North American Interfaith Network (NAIN) is holding its annual gathering in Guadalajara, Mexico, this year. You are invited to register at www.nain.org.  You can also email carpedieminterfe@yahoo.com.

The theme of the conference is "Sacred Space." As the organizers explain, "The space that we share is sacred.  Mexico, USA and Canada in many ways share the same space.  During NAIN Connect GDL 2016, representatives of different spiritual and cultural traditions will meet to dialogue about the 'Sacred Space' of our inner being, the territories of peoples and cultures, natural resources, Mother Earth, migration, our body, sacred architecture and more."

Take this opportunity to connect with people from all over North America by leading a workshop or participating in one of the suggested panels that will be taking place at our first ever Connect in Mexico. You don’t have to speak Spanish to participate or to speak.  Simultaneous interpretation will be provided. We are especially interested in Indigenous Peoples and their relationship to the land/struggle for land and water rights.  All workshops with some relationship to the theme will be considered.
