OneProsper International is a non-profit organization started in Canada that is working towards empowering girls in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan to break the circle of poverty. This January, OneProsper has successfully completed the construction of rainwater harvesting tanks for 30 families. The time that was spent by girls in the community to fetch water on foot, a journey that took more than half the day, can now be spent in a classroom. And you can be help us continue supporting this initiative.

OneProsper is co-hosting this event with Empathy Effect, a non profit started in 2017 that inspires loving kindness in public and private life, at home, at school, at work and in the world. Over the course of 365 days, artist Kim Smiley and her constellation of contributors across the world, The Confederacy of Dreamers, posted a true story and black and white photograph about someone transforming the world through stepping into another person's shoes.
